Brian and Meloney had a great Open House and Barn Sale

Friday and Saturday,

and did we ever have some fun!

Today I'm sharing some of the Barn fun.

All the rain had slowed them down last week

so Brian was still getting things out while we shopped.

We had to check back inside every few minutes just to see what he had added to the sale.

Also, just want to let you know, The Seed Box is planning a big Christmas Open House tentatively scheduled for the weekend of November 19 and 20. That's the weekend before Thanksgiving. It will be held in Chadwick, Missouri at Brian and Meloney's wonderful country home and Garden House. If you've never attended one of their open houses, this might be the time to come. Brian and Meloney have their home decked for the season inside and out with amazing furniture and decor inspiration. The area shops are filled with great antiques and fun Christmas decor. So there is alot to see and enjoy in the SW Missouri area.

New Space at Artichoke Annie's

Brian and Meloney have had a busy summer with shows

and want to let you know some new information about their latest.

The Seed Box Antiques has just opened a new permanent space at

Artichoke Annie's

in Columbia, Missouri. On 1-70 between Kansas City and St. Louis,
it's a nice day trip for anyone in mid to northern MO.

If you live in the area be sure to check out their new space.

The Seed Box is also doing the monthly show in Kansas City,

Back from Urban Market

Meloney just emailed me some photos this afternoon of their space at Urban Market in Houston on May 15th and 16th. I watched the weather channel that weekend and saw lots of rain and storms. I hope it didn't "dampen" the fun of the show. I was excited to get these photos posted as soon as I could.

The large clock face is one of my favorite items.

then take a look at that sweet pillow.

Meloney has such a way with flowers,

love that galvanized bucket with the hydrangeas.

This is one of Brian's new tables that he designed.

The Bistro table is $395,

and the set of 4 barstools covered in burlap are $185.

Welcome to The Seed Box Shop Blog!

Hi everyone, this is Debra from Common Ground. Meloney has asked me to put together a blog as an addition to their website, www.theseedboxantiques.com so that she and Brian would be able to let everyone know their upcoming news and locations of shows and dates. I will be working with Meloney to show photos of what they are doing that is new, and to highlight their Open Houses and Shows.

There will be a comment section at the end of each post. Right now, I am solely posting on the blog, so if you would like to comment, please do so. Meloney and Brian will be reading them, and looking for your feedback. If you need specific information, please feel free to email them or give them a call.

Some of you may have seen the photos and posts I did for their recent Garden House-Open House, that was held on their property, April 23 and 24, 2010. In case you missed them, here are a few of the photos, so you can see the amazing job they have done in designing and constructing their new Garden House, which showcases their vintage garden and architectural pieces.

We're so glad you dropped by this first post of the new blog. We hope you'll join as a follower so that you will be able to know the latest, and keep up with what's happening with The Seed Box. I'm really excited to get to be a part of their latest endeavor.
